Rajkummar Rao who is gearing up for the release of ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ during a promotional interview he said, 2017 is the most important year of my career but hoping for another to be the best.

Rajkummar appeared in amazing films like ‘Trapped’, ‘Newton’ ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ that were appreciated by critics and audience, when asked if he thinks this is the best year of his career Rajkumar said, “It is a really exciting and most important year of my career. I don’t know if it the best or not. I hope another year will be the best year.”

When asked if there are any special precautions he takes before signing a film and what are his priorities as an actor he said, “My process is same for all the films, I read all my scripts and if I like something I want to be a part of it and I don’t really connect too many dots. I want to do a film because I want to do it not for anyone else or another reason. Content and contribution as an actor to the story remains my priority. And secondary could be who is backing it and making it.

His future projects include, ‘Fanney Khan’ with Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai. ‘5 Weddings’ directed by Namrata Singh Gujral opposite Nargis Fakhri. He will also be seen as Subhash Chandra Bose in web series ‘Bose Dead Or Alive’.

Rao’s upcoming Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is a rom-com directed by Ratnaa Sinha and presented by Vikrant Studios co-starring Kriti Kharbanda. The film is scheduled to release on 10th November.
