Mumbai: Esha Gupta feels it’s important to give it back to society by helping the needy.
Recently, the Delhi centre of NGO called Goonj was gutted by fire on the day of Diwali, and unfortunately almost all the winter clothing stock was damaged. And as winter is approaching, the NGO is in dire need of blankets, warm clothes and all things useful.
Considering the unfortunate situation, the actress and fashion icon, has come forward to tie up with Roposo.com, India’s first fashion focused social network and help Goonj, which undertakes disaster relief, humanitarian aid and community development in parts of 21 states across India.
Roposo.com will be running a campaign on their platform where everyone can post a story pledging their donation with #ShareTheWarmth, and Esha will help the social network by creating awareness among the people to come forward and support Goonj. The actress will also donate outfits on the social network platform. Roposo will facilitate the pick up from the donor’s doorstep to those in need.
