For some very odd reason, Katrina Kaif has refused to work with Deepika Padukone in a planned film starring Shah Rukh Khan.
The two beauties are not on good terms. They’ve never been, and what worsens any chances of a thaw in their rivalry is the fact that they both were once dated by Ranbir Kapoor.
It has been learnt that Katrina Kaif has put her foot down telling Aanand L Rai of ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ and ‘Raanjhanaa’ fame that she’ll not act in the movie if Deepika is in it.
This film will have a love triangle between SRK and two leading ladies. According to reports, SRK will be playing a dwarf in this unnamed film.
On the other hand, Deepika was initially miffed that she was not the first choice for the role that was offered to her. Though she later reconsidered, she too is now angry with the news of Katrina being approached.
While Katrina Kaif is in a bad need of a major hit, Deepika is going places not just in Bollywood but also Hollywood. Deepika will be seen in a major role in ‘XXX: Return of Xander Cage’ opposite Vin Diesel.
So whatever be the rivalry for, Kaif looks to be the one on the losing side unless she delivers a hit in 2017 granting her more bragging rights.
The film is planned for a release on December 21, 2018.
