Mumbai: Vidya Balan, who was recently offered a Malyalam film, had to turn it down as the dates clashed with that of her film with Sujoy Ghosh.
Reveals a source, “Vidya gets a lot of offers for south films and was approached for the Malyalam film, however, the dates of the shoot schedule were already alloted to Sujoy’s film. Additionally, the makers couldn’t afford the powerhouse actress who is also a Padma Shri recipient and one of the most popular actresses of this generation.”
