Amruta Khanvilkar is all set for her upcoming Bollywood movie titled ‘Raazi’ starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The movie is produced by Karan Johar’s ‘Dharma Productions’ and helmed by Meghna Gulzaar. During the shoot, Amruta got to know that her co-actor, Vicky is in love with her dance-moves.
Amruta says, “Me and Vicky met during the reading sessions for Raazi. Gradually the friendship bloomed. In our Patiala schedule, Vicky was listening to my Marathi foot-tapping number ‘Vajale Ki Bara’. Though he knew the song, he was not aware that it has been pictured on me. When one of our crew members told him about it, he came running to me and said I am your fan in front of everyone.”
“It was so overwhelming to hear it from an actor like Vicky, who has given fabulous performance in film Masaan. That night after pack up, he made me dance on ‘Vajale Ki Bara’ and even asked me to teach him the signature steps’” she giggles.
“Every year, on the occasion of International Dance Day, I am asked about my dancing idol. But, this year, I feel great that there is someone who likes and appreciates my dancing too. I love such people who make you feel good about yourself, because with that, we grow each day to strive better.” said Amruta.
