The trailer for a brand new web series titled ‘Maharani’ just released on the internet. It is going to star actress Huma Qureshi in the lead role and it is all about politics. Maharani has the backdrop of Bihar.
As the Maharani trailer begins, we hear a narration voice that explains how the game of chess and politics have a ton of common things. Actor Sohum Shah was seen playing the role of the chief minister of the state. Another important character was Amit Sial who seemed to be an opponent.

Huma Qureshi was revealed to be playing the character of the Chief Minister’s wife i.e. Rani Bharati in Maharani. Things take a turn and it is revealed that the series will capture her journey of being the next Chief Minister.
Directed by Karan Sharma, the show will premier on streaming service Sony LIV from 28 May 2021.
