The long-awaited trailer of Amazon Prime Video’s successful web series ‘The Family Man 2’ is finally out. The series was scheduled to release around February but had gotten delayed. The second season, apart from previous characters reprising their roles also has a new villain i.e. South diva Samantha Akkineni who is making her debut in the Hindi industry.
As the trailer starts, we see Srikant Tiwari (played by Manoj Bajpayee) has left his previous job of working as an intelligence officer that he had to keep a secret in order to mend things in his personal life. He can be seen in a new office setting and going to therapy with his wife Suchitra (played by Priyamani). Until his old colleague, JK Talpade (Sharib Hashmi) calls him and tells him about a new mission he is stuck.

Another exciting part was Samantha Akkineni’s portrayal of Rajji who is going to be the ‘new face of danger’ in the series by playing the role of an LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, a Tamil militant organization) terrorist. Her heavy in action and almost unrecognizable avatar impressed all!
The Family Man 2 will begin premiering on Amazon Prime Video from 4 June 2021.
