Ray trailer: Netflix puts together an ensemble cast for this Satyajit Ray anthology

Ray will be releasing on Netflix and stream from 25th June 2021.

A new trailer got dropped of Netflix’s upcoming anthology project titled ‘Ray’. As the name suggests, the series is going to be honoring one of the greatest filmmakers to come out of Indian cinema, Satyajit Ray. The show will feature stellar actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Ali Fazal, Kay Kay Menon, Harshvarrdhan Kapoor, Gajraj Rao, Shweta Basu Prasad, Anindita Bose, Bidita Bag, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Radhika Madan, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor.

Ray is going to be a modern take on 4 of the popular stores helmed by the visionary filmmaker. The series has been directed by Abhishek Chaubey, Srijit Mukherji, and Vasan Bala. These stories are going to be ‘Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa’, ‘Forget Me Not’, ‘Bahurupiya’ and ‘Spotlight’.

Manoj Bajpayee and Gajraj Rao’s characters were seen conversing on a train. Whereas Harshvarrdhan plays an actor struggling to break the shackles of getting typecasted and Ali Fazl was seen as a ruthless corporate person.
