Prakash Jha’s web series ‘Aashram’ has hit an incredible milestone recently. The director took to his Twitter account to share that the show has crossed 1 billion views since it’s release. Aashram stars Bobby Deol in a deceitful avatar of a godman named Baba Nirala. It is available on the digital platform of MX player and is absolutely free.
On his Twitter handle, the director shared the incredible news and expressed gratitude with a reply.

Although the series has been under a lot of flak, that didn’t stop the viewers from giving this show a try and watching the story of the blind faith one has on a spiritual leader. A while ago the second season for the series also released which stars Aaditi Pohankar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Darshan Kumaar, Anupria Goenka, Adhyayan Summan, Tridha Choudhury, Vikram Kochhar, Tushar Pandey, Sachin Shroff, Anuritta Jha, Rajeev Siddhartha, Parinitaa Seth apart from Bobby Deol.
However, there have been no official announcements about the third season of the show.
