Global streaming giant Netflix has already begun teasing the upcoming shows that will feature on it. It was just revealed that celebrated director Alankrita Shrivastava (known for Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitaare and Lipstick Under My Burkha), will be directing a women-centric web series titled ‘Bombay Begums’. The poster for the same was also launched.
The poster of the series featured notable actresses like Pooja Bhatt, Amruta Shubhash, Aashya Anand, Shahana Goswami and Plabita Borthakur. The plot is going to revolve around these 5 women and their everyday life as they explore elements like vulnerability, desire, power and ambition. Alankrita shared the poster on her Twitter handle and said, “Can’t wait for the world to meet our most precious #BombayBegums on #Netflix. Thank you to @TulseaTalent

The poster of Bombay Begums also revealed that the show will release on 8 March 2021, which is regarded as ‘International Women’s Day’. Stay tuned for further details about the show.
