Filmmaker AMR Ramesh to direct web series on forest dacoit Verappan

As far as the casting of the series is concerned, no official announcements have been made yet. Although, as per the rumour mills, south superstar Kishore will be essaying the role of Veerappan.

Known for his contributions in the Tamil and Kannada film industry, director-producer AMR Ramesh will soon be directing a 10 episode web series on the life of the famous Indian bandit, Veerappan.

The show will be titled ‘LTTE’. It is being produced under AMR Pictures. Rana Dagubatti will also be producing the project, while Vijai Shankar will be composing the music and Vaidy S and Vijay Milton will be the directors of photography.

The tease for the show will allegedly be out by July 23 which will contain further details. The show will go into production from August 10. In a 60-day shoot schedule, the show will be shot in Bengaluru and some forests in Karnataka. As per the strict social distancing protocols by the government, safety measures will be taken care of by the entire team.
