A few cast members from the recently released season of Mirzapur shot a fun video for their fans to explain common UP slangs that have often been used in the Mirzapur franchise. Shweta Tripathi Sharma (Golu), Divyenndu Sharma (Munna), Rasika Dugal (Beena) and Harshita Gaur (Dimpy) were seen in this clip shot for amazon prime video, which is the streaming service where the show can be found.
In the video, the cast members could be seen explaining various phrases that exist in the state of Uttar Pradesh like Kantaap, Bakaiti, Tandav and so on while giving examples from their own series. The cast also shared the video on their social media for their fans to see and have a burst of hearty laughter. While sharing the video Shweta hilariously mentioned that the ones who already know the terms can revise from this video.
The second season of the Mirzapur franchise was released on Amazon Prime Video on 22 October 2020. It had a record-breaking premier as the streaming service crashed for a while on the day of the release due to too much traffic. The show features a supremely talented cast that includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shaji Chaudhary, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chaddha and so on. New characters like Anjum Sharma, Vijay Varma were also introduced in the recent season.
