Mumbai: Yes, the Spellbound Productions show, as we know, is proceeding towards a generation leap wherein Samrat’s son, Shaurya will be the new protagonist.
As we know, with the leap, Neha Marda, the original Urmi of the show will bid adieu, as she is not keen on portraying the mother of actor Mohit Malik who is due to play the young and handsome Shaurya.
Speculations were rife about talented actress Chhavi Mittal playing Urmi. But now, we have the confirmed news that seasoned actress Manasi Salvi will play Urmi post leap.

As per our reliable source, “Though Chhavi was always under consideration, the final decision had not been taken. The channel and maker have roped in Mansi Salve now to play the central character.”
Manasi, as we know was last seen playing mother to Nakuul Mehta in the Rajshri Productions show, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara.
The actress has earlier essayed powerful roles in Koi Apna Sa, Saarthi, Pavitra Rishta, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.
