Mumbai: Zee Kannada is all set for its mega launch of this year – ‘Weekend with Ramesh’ which begins this Saturday, 2nd August at 9:00pm.
‘Weekend with Ramesh’- is a talk show with a difference. This show is expected to raise the industry benchmarks and set some trends. Sandalwood’s top actor Ramesh Arvind will host the show.
The first guest on Weekend with Ramesh will be Karnataka’s very own ‘Anna Bond’ – Puneet Rajkumar! He is the son of Karnataka’s celebrated actor- the late Dr. Rajkumar. ‘Power Star’ as he is lovingly called, has been the darling of the Kannada audience since his first appearance as a child artist in 1980’s. During this show, the anchor, Ramesh Arvind will explore the side of Puneet as never seen before on television. Puneet will speak about his first love – food and his favorite eating joints all around Karnataka. He will open his heart out about his relationship with his father, the legendary late Dr. Rajkumar.
Zee Kannada has also undergone a recent re-branding exercise where in the channel’s logo was changed to make it more appealing to the younger audience. Also the channel appearance received a makeover in terms of packaging. This change is to signify the fresh approach adopted by the channel in its programming strategy to attract younger crowd.
