Mumbai: The cute and good looking Akshaya Naik who is seen as Ananya Shaurya Maheshwari in Starplus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ Produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Production, talks about her views over small screen (Television) industry.
The cute Akshaya has also essayed important role of Radha’s (Pranali Ghoghare) friend in Rajshri Productions’ ‘Mere Rang Mein Rangne Waali’ on LifeOK.
Actress talk about the changes she feels on sets of ‘Mere Rang Mein Rangne Waali’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ she tells, “The biggest difference is that I dont have Pranali and Surbhi Mam on the sets of YRKKH whom I truly miss. But yes, Yeh Rishta keeps me on my toes while working and I am able to give in my inputs while shooting, all thanks to the MRMRW experience. While shooting for MRMRW, I would be a little soft as I was a very new to this industry.”
When asked, Akshaya tells about the drawbacks in television industry she explores as budding actress, “The only drawback that I see is that after a particular point you loose your creativity and have to stick to the same character. There is very less chances for innovating but I am very lucky, YRKKH keeps getting us some new thing to potray.”
Further when asked, If reel life and real life relates to each other or reel life is just for entertainment. Gorgeous Akshaya shares, “As an actors we potray characters that are relatable. If not the audience wouldnt be able to connect to us. But yes, some reel life characters do mislead in real life unfortunately.”
When questioned about child actors are getting into serials and before adult age they play roles which are quite sensetive. Sharing her views she tells, “I personally feel its okay if they are into this field. But their parents must make them realise that its for hobby and not their job. It can affect their academics. And most important, they miss on their childhood enjoyment.”
Concluding we asked about kind of role she generally ignores. Stunning Akshaya smiles and shares, ” I am new to the industry. Havent really done much. But I wouldnt ignore any role. Every character has its own charm n uniqueness. Would love to take up any role that comes my way.”
