TMKOC star Dilip Joshi gets candid about his television debut in ‘Zara Hatke’

On the work front, his popular show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma began airing on SAB TV once again after the prolonged halt due to the lockdown.

Best known to play the role of Jethalal Gada from the popular comedy show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ on SAB TV, actor Dilip Joshi took to his Instagram to take a drip down memory lane and recalled the first-ever time he was given the lead in a show. It was called ‘Zara Hatke’ and aired on Zee TV 26 years ago i.e. during 1994.

He mentioned in his post, “Zara Hatke (1994, Zee TV) This was the first time I was entrusted with the responsibility of leading a show along with this fine gentleman.” He had shared the still from his show which featured his co-star Lucky Ali.

While talking more about singer cum actor, Dilip said, “He wasn’t the only one. I also consider myself ‘Lucky’ for having worked with him back then, and having had the good fortune of listening to his songs on the set, long before they became the stuff of legend!”

On the work front, his popular show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma began airing on SAB TV once again after the prolonged halt due to the lockdown. The crew members and the actors have been shooting the show with immense safely measures while abiding by the social distancing protocols. The show has been on air for more than 12 years now.
