Unfortunately, Karan Singh Grover has quit the popular TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. But worry not because Karan Patel has bagged the role and has become the new face of the role of Mr Bajaj. Patel considers the show close to his heart as he was also the part of the original Kasautii Zindagii Kay which was on air from 2001 to 2008. People saw Ronit Roy playing the role of Mr Bajaj in the original show.
When asked about this, Karan Patel said that shooting the show is going to be very fun. Firstly because of everyone going back to work after 3 months and secondly because he played the role of Mr Bajaj’s son in the original show. He feels that life has come to a full circle with this opportunity.
Patel also mentioned that he is aware that people are going to compare his performance with Karan Singh Grover’s yet, it doesn’t scare him and realises that it is something people tend to do. The actor also said that he is extremely honoured to take up the role Ronit Roy portrayed so brilliantly on screen all those years ago.

Talking about how he prepares for a role, the Ye Hai Mohabbatein actor mentioned that he is extremely spontaneous and doesn’t believe in preparing for a role. Balaji Telefilms has been gearing up to resume the shoot of the show soon now.
As per the rumour mills, it was revealed that Karan Singh Grover was not happy with the character transition of Mr Bajaj within the show and hence he decided to quit. Apart from this, he was also not very keen about stepping out to shoot for the show with coronavirus cases being on such a rise in the country.
