The few of the members from the team of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ were found to have contracted the life-endangering coronavirus. Out of them, 3 are actors while the rest 4 are crew members. They are all under home quarantine as of now.
After the announcement, everyone on the set has been tested and the shooting has been put on a halt. Other than this, the BMC has been informed as well and the set was also said to be fumigated thoroughly to avoid further contractions.
One of the actors who got infected is Sachin Tyagi, who is known for portraying the role of Manish Goenka, Kartik’s (the lead) father. He also took to his Instagram stories to thank all his fans for the support and prayers for his speedy recovery.
Sachin has also mentioned that he had earlier undergone a test for Dengue but decided to get tested for COVID as well and was found to be positive.
The other members who were found to be corona positive are under medical attention while being quarantined at home since they have shown no symptoms yet.
