Popular television sensation, Rubina Dilaik who participated in the reality TV show Bigg Boss 14 got announced as the winner in the season finale. She was one of the earliest contestants of the show, who was neither a wild card entry nor re-entered after an eviction. Rahul Vaidya, who was often seen locking horns with Rubina inside the house was the runner up.
As the finale began, there were 5 contestants within the show i.e. Rubina Dilaik, Rahul Vaidya, Aly Goni, Rakhi Sawant and Nikki Tamboli. As the final progressed, Salman Khan gave the contestants a chance to take the cash prize of 14 lakhs and leave the show then and there. Rakhi was the one who seized the opportunity and got out.
Another alarming thing that happened in the show was that Aly Goni was the next person to be evicted owing to the less number of votes. Considering what a strong contender he was, fans easily assumed he has a high chance of winning or will at least be a runner up. Eventually, Nikki Tamboli also got evicted and the competition was then between Rahul and Rubina.
