TV actor Avinash Mukherjee, who set foot in the industry as a child actor and played the role of Jagiya in the hit show ‘Balika Vadhu’ believes that the image that an actor holds doesn’t have much importance in today’s times.

Avinash believes that versatility is the most important element that an actor can have. One must always try different kinds of roles and characters. He said an actor’s image doesn’t hold much importance these days like it did in the 80s and the 90s. In modern times people focus on themselves as a brand. He also thinks that people will accept himself as whatever character he plays as long as the work that is done by him on screens is convincing and the audience can connect with it emotionally.
