Mumbai: Actress Chitrashi Rawat who is popularly know for her role in Bollywood’s Hit Film Chak De India recently entered Star Plus’ Tu Mera Hero produced by Shashi Summet Mittal Productions.
The very talented actress will be playing a cameo and will be seen as a part of the Hasya Kavi Sammelan track which we have already witnessed. Chitrashi is playing a qawaal called Amrita who will meet Titu during the Hasya Kavi Sammelan.
The character will bring in more drama and laughter to the show which is heading towards a new chapter. The actress underwent a look test and the channel and makers have locked on a look that is Indian and yet has a contemporary touch and feel to it. Chitrashi will be seen sharing screen space with stand-up comedians Ahsaan Qureshi and Gopi Bhalla.
Chitrashi who will be seen as Amrita in Star Plus’ Tu Mera Hero said to media, “I was immediately convinced that I would want to play the role of Amrita when the script was narrated to me. Amrita is this young qawalli singer who also writes satires and is very bubbly and talented. My look on the show is also very different from what I have sported previously and I am also very excited to be a part of Tu Mera Hero as this is the first time that I am working for a daily show.”
With the entry of Amrita the viewers can expect a fresh wave of laughter and light moments!
