Chennai: Popular Telugu playback singer V. Ramakrishna (68Yrs) was suffering from cancer and passed away on Wednesday at his Venkatagiri Hills residence.

V. Ramakrishna has really worked hard for his career and has achieved credit for approximately 5000 songs. He started his career at a very early age with popular show Yuva Vani on (AIR) All India Radio.

If we move to the past and think about the first song then he made his singing debut with the Telugu song “Vayase Oka Poolathota” from “Vichitra Bandham” in 1972.

After that he was one of the known names in the industry and worked for hit movies like Andala Ramudu, Sharada, Alluri Seetharama Raju, Muthyala Muggu, Amaradeepam and many more.
Singer Ramakrishna had a wife named Jyothi, son Sai Kiran, a popular Telugu actor and daughter Lekha in his family.
