Mumbai: ABCD 2’s backup dancer, Nilesh Nirbhavane, has been arrested for raping a mentally challenged minor girl, along with his friend. According to media reports, Nirbhavane was arrested by Pant Nagar police on June 26, after he confessed to the crime.
The incident came to light when the 14-year-old girl told her teacher about the rape. The teacher, who had noticed a sudden change in the girl, got in touch with the minor’s parents who registered a complaint with the Pant Nagar police station. Reportedly, Nilesh and his friends have been raping the girl at public toilets and isolated places for a month.
Nilesh has been booked under IPC Section 376D (gang rape), 377 (unnatural offense) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).
He was last seen as a background dancer in the hit franchise Anybody Can Dance 2.
