Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and entrepreneur Raj Kundra recently partnered to launch Best Deal TV, a celebrity-driven 24/7 Home shopping Channel.
Best Deal TV is the first celebrity-driven TV Commerce channel in India and has inked endorsement deals with major A-list celebrities and top TV stars in the country.
The channel that went live across all platforms 2 days ago, introduced their first 2 product lines, Twist Headphones & Hybrid Speakers by Akshay Kumar and Slim Shape Jeans by Shilpa Shetty Kundra .
The two products were so highly anticipated that the systems crashed on the first day itself,with the channel receiving as many as over a thousand calls ,within an hour of the launch.
Confirming the news says Raj Kundra, “Yes, the systems were down and we had not expected this kind of volume. A lot of curious customers were calling to enquire about the products . However we were up in 15 minutes again. Our focus remains quality and customer service”.
