Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Laabam’ with Shruti Haasan deals with the importance of Agricultural sector!

Although the film was supposed to release initially in the month of May, the pandemic crisis did delay the post-production process.

The trailer for Vijay Sethupathi and Shruti Haasan’s upcoming film ‘Laabam’ was recently released. A year ago it was announced that Vijay will be the part of the project. Luckily, the production of the film concluded in early 2020 before the coronavirus created havoc in the nation.

Although the film was supposed to release initially in the month of May, the pandemic crisis did delay the post-production process. However, the trailer was finally released recently. See it here:

Vijay Sethupathi has essayed the role of an activist fighting for the rights of the innocent people within the agricultural and farming sector. The trailer also deals with how the slaves of the system are actually the ones who hold a lot of power.

Directed by SP Jananathan, this will mark Vijay’s second collaboration with the director after Purambokku Engira Podhuvudamai in 2015. It is alleged that the film will release by the end of 2020.
