The 6th South Indian International Movie Awards begins in Abu Dhabi .The award show is hosted by DJ Allu Sirish and Roshan and it has been quite entertaining for all.
All the biggies from the industry have shown their presence and performed too. Celebrity like Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are also present at the big awards for promotion of their upcoming movie Jagga jasoos.
Pooja Hegde who is about to start her career in the south industry was also spotted at the event. The first day at awards was dedictaed to Telgu and Kannad Industry. The second day will hold the awards ceremony for Malayalam and tamil Films, here is the list of winners from the First day.
TELGU FILMS AWARDS :
Nivetha Thomas won the Best Debut Female award for the Telugu film Gentleman
Roshan received the Best Debut award (Male) for his performance in Nirmala Convent.
Rakul Preet won the Best Actor (Female) for Nannaku Prematho ,
Jr NTR won the Best Actor (Male) for Janatha Garage.
Actor Nani won the Best Actor (Critic) award this year.
Kannada Film Awards :
Shivrajkumar received the Best Actor (Male) award for his film Shivalinga
Actor Shraddha Srinath won the Best Actor award (Female) for her performance in U Turn.
Kirik Party won the Best Film award this year.
Bollywood Singer Armaan Malik also grabbed an award for his fabulous Singing.
