Mumbai: Actress Shivangi Verma and Masterchef Ripudaman Handa are dating each other for quite some time. Recently, Shivangi lost weight and she wants to give this credit to her boy friend popular chef Ripudaman Handa.
Talking more about her weight loss Shivangi says,”Yes he has always been my real inspiration . I know him from the time he was 110 kgs. With lot of hard work he reduced his weight which inspired me a lot. I followed his routine in terms of meals and made sure that losing weight should be the priority. Hence he made it posible.”
Talking about her daily diet Shivangi says , “I have a proper routine to follow 6 days a week but the 7th day is a cheat day because I am a foodie and I can’t just leave eating junk food. I eat a lot but the 6 days I eat only diet food.”
When ask about her inspiration in losing weight. Shivangi replies with a smile, “Ripudaman Handa who else and also Shilpa Shetty whom I met during Nach Baliye. She is also someone who has been an inspiration for many people. And she used to give her valuable tips during Nach Baliye. I am also following her yoga plan.”
Later Shivangi also shares, “It’s been close to 3 months and I have lost 8 kilos. Following diet never gives me any problem because the industry I belong to is a professional one and they are all conscious about their diets so I get inspired from them also.”
If losing weight and being slim a necessity for actresses. She shares “Depends on what the role demands. But yes atleast an actor should be fit and inspire the audiences as the they start relating themselves in real lives from the character in the show.”
Shivangi’s diet is based on salads and herbs and she also does a lot of exercises.
