Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” ever since its release has been a part of the news tremendously due to the song consistently breaking multiple records. Adding to its success, the song is leading at #1 for the second week on Billboard Hot 100.

Taylor Swift released two singles from her upcoming album, -Reputation. LWYMMD made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 last week, replacing the position held for 16 weeks by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s Despacito featuring Justin Bieber. The second single from her 6th album, “…Ready for It” which released in the first week of September made its debut in Billboard Hot 100 at #4 last week and still holds the same position.


Taylor Swift is the only women to be in the top 10 in Billboard Hot 100 Chart with 2 of her recently launched songs. According to Billboard, it is the first time in three years that the Hot 100 sees two solo women in the lead position of the top two spots of the chart since Dec 13, 2014. The #2 is being held by Cardi B’s Bodak Yellow.

Among other records, Taylor Swift’s LWWYMD still remains the only video to have received 43.2 million views in 24 hours on YouTube and now has above 394 million views. It also broke the day-one Spotify record with 8 million streams surpassing the 6.9m streams set by Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You in its first 24 hours back in January.
