Internationally acclaimed director Alexandre Aja who has helmed movies like The Hils Have Eyes and High Tension is back again with a sci-fi film titled ‘Oxygen’. The film is going to have an ‘existential twist’ and feature actress Mélanie Laurent in the lead role. Oxygen will be releasing on Netflix and the teaser for it was also released recently.
The teaser showed a woman suddenly waking up in a mysterious cryogenic unit. She then realises that she has no memory of reaching here. Panic arises when she realises that there is also a crisis of oxygen depletion in the area. She not only has to regain her memory now but also find a way to survive.

Actors like Mathieu Amalric and Malik Zid will also feature in the film. The filming for Oxygen had begun last year in July 2020. It is now ready to release on streaming giant Netflix on 12 May 2021.
