Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra seems to have found a fan in Hollywood actor Ken Jeong known for his roles in Hangover, Despicable Me and Pineapple Express among others.
The actor has been all praise for Peecee and believes that the actress, with her show Quantico, is paving the way for many Asian actors to make it big in Hollywood . Says Jeong, “I love that show and I think this brings up an even greater point about diversity in Hollywood and people like Priyanka are paving the way for people like me, actors of Asian ethnicity, to be stars of their shows in America. That is really the biggest part”.
Ken who also met Priyanka during the promotions of his show Dr.Ken ,is floored by her talent and beauty. “I actually got to meet Priyanka for her show Quantico while we were promoting (my show) Dr. Ken.Quantico is my favorite show. Just last night my wife and I were watching the latest episode. I am really a big fan of hers. She is so beautiful and talented. I think she is one of the best actors working today.” Adds Jeong.
With Quantico, Priyanka becomes the first Indian to headline an American tv series. The actress has wowed the American media and was lauded for her portrayal of Alex Parrish , with the international press including The New York Times & Gazette calling her “confident”, “seasoned” and “charismatic”.
The freshman thriller drama that follows a diverse group of FBI recruits, sees Chopra play Alex Parish, a top trainee found smack dab in the middle of a controversy.
