Walt Disney Studios took everyone by surprise by releasing a trailer for a brand new film ‘Cruella’. The film is going to capture the journey of Cruella de Vil, the Disney villain who featured in the movie 101 Dalmatians. The role is being essayed by Oscar winner, Emma Stone.
‘Cruella’ is set amidst the backdrop of 1970 London and will focus on how a young, aspiring fashion designer Estella de Vil eventually became the cold-blooded and horrifying phenomenon known as ‘Cruella de Vil’. Disney Studios shared the trailer for the same on their Twitter handle while mentioning, “Brilliant. Bad. A little bit mad. May 2021.”

Other esteemed actors like Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham and Mark Strong will also be seen in the film. ‘Cruella’ is being directed by Craig Gillespie, who is known for helming the acclaimed movie ‘I, Tonya’.
Cruella is headed for a theatrical release on 28 May 2021.
