The 6th year of the Annual Mijwan fashion show hosted by veteran actress Shabana Azmi and Namrata Goyal, scheduled on 5th March 2017 will be graced by several Bollywood celebrities.
The show befitting of this year’s theme ‘Mijwan Summer 2017’ will witness superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma walking the ramp for the noble cause.
The fundraiser fashion show by Manish Malhotra will witness celebrities sharing the same stage to create awareness among the people to come forward and donate generously to support the education and empowerment of the girl child.
Veteran actress Kajol has also agreed to grace the fashion show, hosted in memory of Shabana Azmi’s father, poet and social activist late Kaifi Azmi who grew up in Mijwan (near Azamgarh).
After he passed away on 10th May 2002, daughter Shabana Azmi, along with her godchild Namrata Goyal, took on the task of carrying Kaifi saab’s dream forward by hosting the fundraiser initiative every year.
Those expected to attend the coveted fashion show includes Sridevi, Konkona Sensharma, Sushmita Sen, Farah Khan, Huma Qureshi, Sooraj Pancholi and Kartik Aaryan among others.
