Amy Jackson who is currently shooting for a music video in the UK with singer-songwriter Manj ,is also taking time out from her schedule to spread awareness about a cause that she has always felt passionately about – animal welfare.
The actress who is the UK for the next 15 days , has earlier been part of a campaign for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and continues to campaign against animal cruelty, whenever the opportunity arises.
Amy, while in London, will be delivering a speech on the subject at a school she studied in .The actress got in touch with the authorities and discussed the possibility of having an informal chat with the students ,on a drive against animal cruelty and animal testing.
Confirming the news said Amy, “I have been supporting the cause of animal welfare since I was a child. This is part of a conscious effort to create opportunities to raise awareness about animal welfare among the youth, and to talk about the cruelty they face.”
