Mumbai: Well-known Kathak dancer, actress and model Ranjana Bhattacharya shot with designer label brand Randell Gomes recently for a pret range as well as a hand-embroidered and embellished sari and Anarkali collection. The collection will be launched from his boutique in Margao in South Goa. Along with Ranjana Bhattacharya, Randell Gomes has shot with several known faces this season including Nancy Singh, Simona Roy, Tara Singh, Natasha Sikka, Arshi Khan, Nisha Yadav and a few other known models. Some of these images were shot bywell-known bollywood photographer Raju Asrani.
Ranjana Bhattacharya has also featured in films like Zilla Gaziabad, Right Ya Wrong, Chashme Baddoor and has done ad-films like Vithoba dantmanjan, Nmart, Zalim lotion, Kabjamrut, etc. She also did a Bhojpuri film Ee Mati Mein Sab Kuch Kathe produced by her Guruji in which she played the lead female role. She has also been doing theater for the last 5 years and has acted in plays like Uncle Samjha Karo, See No Evil Hear No Evil and Get rid of my Wife.

This collection will be launched in April and is targeted at the mid-aged woman of substance. The are all hand-embellished and hand embroidered and contain exquisite hand work from different parts of India.”
The Anarkali collection is value for money and is available in various sizes, designs, silhouettes, cuts and fits and even for the plus-sized, middle-aged woman, he said.
Randell Gomes has launched three different ranges – the first is a high-end couture bridal collection, the second is a pret line and the third is a casual wear party line.
Randell Gomes said, “The couture bridal line is very exclusive and only a few pieces are hand made and hand embroidered and available in a very limited edition. They are priced between Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh and they are personally signed by Randell Gomes. The pret line and the casual wear party line are for the masses and are available all over India. The collection includes various fabrics like Cottons, Silks, Chiffon, Georgette, etc. There is also a signature line within the pret collection that is fabricated with hand loom hand-made Khadi and is a priced accordingly.”
