Besides being a versatile actor, R Madhavan is known to be a family man and he likes spending time with his near and dear ones whenever he’s not busy shooting.
Last week, the talented actor flew to Chennai to celebrate his father’s 75th birthday. Being a doting son, Madhavan along with his wife and kid Vedant flew to Chennai and he plans to stay there for a few more days.
Interestingly, the actor took his father and the rest of their family out for sightseeing including a few temples located near Chennai’s Adyar River. The actor’s family was later joined by other relatives and they all had an extravagant vegetarian lunch.
Madhavan says, “It was great to meet everyone. I always believe that the elders in my family are the reason for my success. So, getting their blessings was one of the best ways to celebrate my dad’s birthday.
“He has been an inspiration for me, and I like the way he is so comfortable with who he is. I hope I get blessed with the same satisfaction when I’m his age,” Madhavan adds.
