TV heartthrob Karanvir Bohra is all set to step into the shoes of a grey character with his untitled movie. The actor was rumored to revive Shah Rukh Khan’s role in Darr with the film and to get under the skin of his character ,the actor took training from Robin Das, the Dean of National School of Drama.

Karanvir who trained at NSD , and was one of the institute’s top rankers continues to remain close to the dean and asked him to help him achieve the kind of intensity that his role required for the film.

Sources reveal that the dean showed him the film Phantom of the Opera starring Gerard Butler and Karanvir watched the film over thrice a day to portray the menacing character on screen.

Says Karanvir, “My mentor Robin Das was a huge help and has such deep insight when it comes to acting. He suggested i watch Phantom of the Opera since it would help me harness those emotions for the role .I watched the film almost 100 times , on several days over thrice a day and I think that really helped me”.
