After the world premiere at the London Indian Film Festival, writer-producer Harry Sachdeva and Magical Dream Productions Pvt Ltd’s 31st October was screened at the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) on September 28, 2015.

Directed by the National award winning filmmaker Shivaji Lotan Patil, the political thriller starring Soha Ali Khan and Vir Das is based on the aftermath of Indira Gandhi’s assassination. After watching the film, the critics couldn’t stop raving about the thriller and Vir and Soha’s stellar performance in the movie calling it – thrilling, heartrending and full of love!

Praising the movie, popular critic Ken Eisner said, “The aftershocks of Indira Gandhi’s assassination in 1984, at the hands of her own Sikh bodyguards, are presented brutally in this re-creation of events that led to more than 2,100 deaths in Delhi alone.”
