Mumbai: Cricketer Yuvraj Singh one of the brave survivors of cancer, Sharmila Thackeray, Dr.Anjali Tendulkar & Aneel Murarka stand firm in support at the noble drive against cancer. Pioneers of their respective fields shared a few words of wisdom and propelled the mob to take necessary steps to insure the eradication of the problem.

Cricketer Yuvraj Singh was felicitated for his saga of bravery and his fight against cancer. An elated and emotional Yuvraj shared his journey and motivated people to never fall back and fight against cancer.

The event witnessed Aneel Murarka, well known for his philanthropic gestures and leaving no stone unturned to extend his support towards noble cause, including this one all & Rajeev Sharma was also present

Rita Gupta, (Vice President of MNS) mentions “It’s an honor to have Yuvraj, Sharmila ji to come and support our initiative to eradicate cervical cancer which is very prone amongst women during pregnancy. We believe in the saying Precaution is better than cure, hence we will have pioneers to speak about cervical cancer and how to overcome this disease. We will have concessional rates so that we reach out to maximum people and abolish the problem”.

International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women. One amongst other ordinary women Rita Gupta (Vice President of MNS) took a noble initiative; Drive Against Cancer.

In order to spread awareness and cure cancer, pioneers of medical science to unite and educate people about the precautions to be taken to cure Cervical Cancer. Hence, extending a helping to all, Rita Gupta (Vice President of MNS) along with other dignitaries to treat people with free check and treatment for cervical cancer

Cancer that forms in tissues of the cervix (the organ connecting the uterus and vagina). It is usually a slow-growing cancer that may not have symptoms but can be found with regular Pap tests (a procedure in which cells are scraped from the cervix and looked at under a microscope). Cervical cancer is almost always caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infection.
