A unique initiative introduced by Tata Motors, ‘Hamare Bus Ki Baat Hai’ is a unique program that reaches out to the support staff of school buses across India, helping them improve their efficiency. The company every year associates with many school and initiatives which promotes well being of children. Another such initiative is the Mumbai Juniorthon by Party Sharty Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Commenting on their association with Mumbai Juniorthon, Sandeep Kumar, Senior General Manager, Passenger – S & M states, “We are very keen to play our role in the social objective. Participating in the Mumbai Juniorthon was the most obvious step to support healthier lifestyles. We are very proud and glad that we got this opportunity to associate ourselves once again with the children marathon and schools of Mumbai. We wish this event a big success. We would love to participate in the event year after year.”

Talking about the Tata Motor’s program ‘Hamare Bus Ki Baat Hai’ Sandeep said, “‘Hamare Bus Ki Baat Hai’ is a very unique and a different kind of program that we initiated in 2013. It had today covered about 3000 schools and more than 75 to 80 cities in the country. As a program, we are trying to teach them skills in engaging with kids on a softer note, and now we are trying the program with some sessions with the parent and staff on how to handle to sexual abuse of the child.”

He further added, “Tata Motors has been making safe, reliable comfortable and cost-effective school buses for the past 30-years now. We have been associated with various schools helping them plan that their transport needs.”

The ‘Hamare Bus Ki Baat Hai’ program aims to ensure safe and comfortable travel of children by bus. It shows staff such as drivers, conductors, and attendants operating school buses the way to improving themselves in their daily tasks, and helps them understand the psychology and behaviour of school children better.

Juniorthon, Mumbai’s largest run for children is held to motivate them to participate in physical activities leading to a healthier lifestyle. The event will be held at Bandra Kurla complex on 10th of December, which will mark 3rd season of this kids’ marathon.

Beside Tata Motors as ‘Safety Travel Partner’, Smile foundation also associated as ‘NGO’ partner with the initiative, and also Bollywood has welcomed the initiative. There is a long list of Bollywood celebs’ who has supported the cause. Vidya Balan, Jacqueline Fernandes, Ayushmann Khurrana, Isha Koppikar, director Zoya Akther, Dino Morea, Tamannaah Bhatia among others are in the list.
