Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt ,Support, Organ Donation Drive

Team Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt stepped out to create awareness about Organ Donation drive started by Amar Gandhi Foundation here in Mumbai. During their media interaction, Alia and Ranbir showed their support for the cause.

“It is important to make people are aware of the process behind it. I think it is important to come and talk about the health issues and Amar Gandhi Foundation and Organ donation awareness drive. Make people aware of the prospects of their organ donation, alive or post-death” said Alia Bhatt about the drive.

In an attempt to create awareness about the importance of organ donation, the Amar Gandhi Foundation is organizing an awareness programme followed by a live concert by singer Shankar Mahadevan. The event was held at the Nehru Centre in Mumbai on November 18th.

Ranbir Kapoor was so impressed with the drive that he decided to donate his organs. He said in his speech, “Pledge and donate my organs, I hope that by me doing this it will make a difference to one person or two person lives, and it keeps going forward and it will make a big difference, so please do consider pledging your organs”
Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji will bring two of the most talented and popular star Alia and Ranbir on screen for Brahmastra, which will go on the floors soon.

‘Brahmastra’ also stars Amitabh Bachchan, and has been touted as the most ambitious project of Ayan Mukerji till date. The film will be made in a trilogy, the first part of the fantasy adventure series is expected to go on floors next year and release on Independence Day, 2019.

Currently, Actor Ranbir Kapoor is busy with the much-awaited biopic on Sanjay Dutt, being helmed by Raju Hirani. He has undergone a major transformation in terms of his face, body, and mannerisms to get into the skin of his character.

Alia Bhatt is busy with Meghna Gulzar directorial Raazi, the film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat, about a Kashmiri spy married to a Pakistani man during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The movie also stars Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
