Mumbai: Popular director Ketan Mehta is back in discussion with the release of the official trailer of upcoming movie Manjhi- The Mountain Man starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte in the lead.
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing the role of Manjhi and actress Radhika Apte will be seen as his wife in the movie.
Today, with the release of the movie trailer it has been disclosed that the movie is based on a true story of person named Dasrath Manjhi. He was a labour who had alone made a way through a mountain using only a hammer and chisel just in the memory of his wife, who died after falling from the mountain.
With the starting of the trailer we are going to see the beautiful love story of a couple from village and in the second part Manjhi’s wife dies and he gives an open challenge to the mountain.
Manjhi- The Mountain Man landed under lots of controversies and it has also been informed that on the last day of the shooting the team received a legal noticed from a person who claims that he has the thumb impression of real Manjhi but later team won the case and the movie is ready to be released on 21st August, 2015.
