Miss Universe Lara Dutta and her husband Mahesh Bhupathi was spotted at the launch of “The Runway Project” here in Mumbai. During her media interaction, Lara expressed her joy over recent Miss World 2017 win.
India’s Manushi Chhillar won the Miss World beauty pageant for the year 2017. The win comes 17 years after Priyanka Chopra brought home the coveted title in the year 2000.
“After seventeen long years we won, so I am really happy. It is a proud and happy moment for the whole Country that daughter of our nation has won Miss World. Manushi has been special from the very beginning”
“There was a good feeling when she was leaving for the pageant; it felt like we have good chances of winning this time. And like Manshi said in her interview today, it is the best feeling in the world when you hear your name for Miss World India that is the best feeling” said Lara Dutta.
Tennis ace player Mahesh Bhupathi looked dapper in his suit and talked about Indian cricketer Virat Kohli being a good leader.
“Virat Kohli is obviously a great leader and he is doing great stuff for the team and he is very disciplined and it is good that the team is following him in that direction,” said Mahesh when asked about Virat.
Bollywood celebrities like Achala Sachdev, Aditi Govitrikar, Ameet Gaur, Amy Billimoria, Anita Dongre, Sucheta Sharma, Diana Hayden, Krystle D’Souza, Lara Dutta, Mahesh Bhupathi, Malaika Arora, Manasi Scott, Nachiket Barve, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Rakshanda Khan, Shamita Singha, Suchitra Pillai, Rahul Bose, Wendell Rodricks and many more graced the Red Carpet Of The Runway Project.
Talking about the event, Lara said, “More than the Restaurant, I am here to support Hemant Trivedi, he was my mentor when I won Miss India. And tomorrow he celebrates his Birthday and we are celebrating him today”
On the work front, Lara Dutta has reportedly signed the sequel “No Entry Mein Entry” and “Partner 2”.
