A fresh teaser for an upcoming Tollywood thriller Zombie Reddy has been creating havoc on the internet and become viral in no time. It is going to be the first Zombie film to ever come out of the Telugu film industry. Actress Samantha Akkineni shared the video on her Twitter while mentioning it ‘looks like so much fun’.
The film will be set amidst a post-apocalyptic backdrop and is a fictional telling of the events which will take place after the COVID-19 pandemic. It featured a lot of quick sequences like an old woman rocking in a chair, a group of screeching zombies and men in heavy safety gears and big masks. The teaser had a mysterious aura to it.

The film is being directed by Prashanth Varma, who was behind helming the 2018 feature ‘Awe!’. It is being produced by Apple Tree Studios owned by Raj Shekar Varma. Stars like Anandhi, Teja Sajja and Naksha Nagarkar will be seen in the lead roles. It will hit the theatres in the year 2021.
