Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan recently released the promo for his upcoming film ‘Dhamaka’. Known for playing romantic and comedic roles in most of his films, Kartik will be portraying a very serious character in this new project where he was seen as a journalist. The promo was released by streaming giant Netflix India.
In the teaser, Kartik was seen sitting on a news desk trying to shoot a segment for a news channel. He looked uncomfortable and tried to tell people he won’t be able to pull this off. After some encouragement, he was seen repeating the words, “Main hun Arjun Pathak, Bharosa 24/7 se..jo bhi kahunga sach kahunga.”

The description of the video gave a glimpse into the premise. It mentioned, “A frustrated ex-news anchor is given another chance to go live on prime time television when a terrorist calls him with a bomb threat. Little does he know that this call will change his life and throw him into a fast-paced game of betrayal.”
Director Ram Madhvani (known for Neerja, Aarya) is the one directing the movie. Dhamaka is headed for an OTT release on Netflix. The release date will be revealed soon.
