Team of Satyameva Jayate has begun shooting in the city of Lucknow for its sequel. As per the updates, the shooting schedule will continue till January 2021. The production house of the film, Emmay Entertainment posted a picture from the sets which featured the leads of the film John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar posing with director Milap Zaveri as all of them held a clapperboard.

The rest of the cast members of the film include Harsh Chhaya, Gautami Kapoor, Shaad Randhawa, Anup Soni, and Sahil Vaid.
Like the original, the second instalment of the film will also be a vigilante action film. It will focus on the concept of fighting for what is right amidst injustice.
The release date of the film is of 12 May 2021, during the time of eid.
