Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra will soon be seen in a new spy thriller titled ‘Mission Majnu’. It will also star Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead. The film is set amidst the backdrop of the 70s era and will be based on true incidents. In fact, it is the retelling of ‘India’s deadliest secret operation’.
The first look of the film was also shared by the leading hero on his social media handle. It featured him in casual clothing with a gun in his hand while the background was comprised of destruction and map of India’s neighbouring areas. The film will be directed by Shantanu Bagchi and is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP movies along with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta. Sumit Batheja, Parveez Shaikh and Aseem Arora are the writers of the film.
As per the updates, Mission Majnu will go under production from February 2021.
