The new film by Abhishek Kapoor with Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor finally has a name now! The actor took to his social media to share that the film is called ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. He also revealed that it will be his first time shooting in his hometown for a film, which makes him quite excited.
With his Tweet, Ayushmann announced that the filming has begun. He shared two photos and in one of them, he could be seen sporting his rugged new look as his leading lady Vaani sat next to him. Their director Abhishek Kapoor was standing behind them. The other picture featured a clapperboard that revealed that the shooting had commenced.

It was revealed that Ayushmann will be seen playing the role of a cross-functional athlete within the film. He took the time to completely transform himself during the lockdown. It is going to be a progressive love story scheduled to release in the year 2021.
