The trailer for the new film titled ‘Sherni’ just dropped. It will star stellar actress Vidya Balan in the lead role. The film looks like a gripping watch and has impressed all the fans so far. It is going to be based on a man-eating tiger and a women forest officer who has been transferred to the area to look after the matter.
As the trailer starts, you see Vidya Balan as a forest officer who is surrounded by people, especially the villagers of the district who think she isn’t any good. Apart from doing her job, she is seen battling gender stereotypes and sexism. A lot of great actors and familiar faces were seen in the movie like Neeraj Kabi, Sharad Saxena, Vijay Raaz, Mukul Chadda.

Fans loved the glimpse of Vidya Balan’s character so much in the trailer that they are claiming that her portrayal is going to be award-winning. Sherni is going to be the second film directed by acclaimed filmmaker Amir Masurkar who created Oscar buzz after the release of his debut directorial ‘Newton’.
Sherni is headed for an OTT release on Amazon Prime Video on 18 June 2021.
