The wait is over as the official trailer for Shakeela has just released. The film is going to be a biopic based on the life of a popular adult star from the 90s named Shakeela. Actress Richa Chadha is portraying her role. The trailer consisted of some quick sequences that revealed her rising popularity and the craze within her fans.
Bollywood gem Pankaj Tripathi was also seen in the movie portraying the role of a big-time actor. He is initially shown to be siding with her and supporting her but soon turns against her after being threatened by her overnight success and rising popularity.

Directed by Indrajit Lankesh, the film will capture two different sides of the popularity Shakeela was gaining. While people young and old loved to see her on screens, there was another community which highly disapproved of the work she was doing and wanted to get her films banned.
Shakeela will be released theatrically and will hit the silver screens on Christmas day i.e. 25 December 2020.
