Esteemed director from the Indian film industry, Ram Gopal Varma made a crucial announcement on his social media account. His upcoming film ‘D Company’ was scheduled for a release on 26 March 2021. However, looking at the spike in the number of COVID-19 cases all across the nation, the director mentioned that the release is being postponed.
His post on his Twitter handle said, “Due to the sudden severe covid rise in many parts of the country and also amid continuous news of new lockdowns, we at SPARK decided to postpone the release of D COMPANY ..A new date will be announced ASAP #DCompany” He, however, didn’t reveal the new release date yet.

The first look of D Company was shared on the internet around January 2021 and the director revealed that it is going to be ‘the mother of all gangster films’. It is headed for a pan-Indian release i.e. in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
